All orders are normally dispatched within 48hours (not including weekends or bank holidays).
Minimum order value is £10.00 GBP
Order Value under £20.00 Delivery @ £3.95
Order Value between £20.01 and £50.00 Delivery @ £4.95
Order Value between £50.01 and £100.00 Delivery @ £6.95
Order Value between £100.01 and £200.00 Delivery @ £8.95
Order Value between £200.01 and £300.00 Delivery @ £10.95
Order Value over £300.01 Delivery FREE (UK mainland only) via courier.
For guaranteed next day deliveries please phone your orders through on 01708 630633, all orders must be received before 12:30pm for same day despatch.
As it is sometimes not possible for you to calculate the exact shipping costs, we recommend that unless you are absolutely certain of the cost of the shipping, that you allow us to calculate this for you. Please note it is always our company policy to keep shipping/postage costs to a minimum.
Delivery Schedule
Orders received before 12:30pm (GMT) will normally despatched the same day subject to stock availability.
Back Orders
If your order or part of your order is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be informed by email with anticipated delivery date, at this point you have option to cancel your order if you are not prepared to wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union 17.5% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free and we will forward by email total cost of order less VAT
What is the modellers-world.com Return Policy?
You may return an item purchased from modellers-world.com. We accept returns as long as the following conditions are met:
Refunds and exchanges are accepted within 7 working days starting with the day after the delivery date, accompanied by the delivery note.
All refunds require that the item be returned in the original packaging, with all pieces and in original condition.
Opened packages may only be exchanged for an identical product, if faulty.
Refunds will be applied to the credit card that was used to purchase the item.
For in store returns, the following also applies:
When no receipt is provided,refunds for goods will be given at the discretion of management a credit note will be issued equal to the items prevailing price.
If the item being returned was a gift, the refund can be given in the form of a credit note.
Refunds
When is my refund processed?
If you choose to bring your item to our store, you will receive your refund at the time of the return. This refund will be either credited back to the credit card that was used to purchase the item or in the form of a credit note, if the item was a gift.
If you choose to send the item back to our retail shop, your refund may take up to 28 business days from the time we receive your item. The refund will be applied to the credit card that was used to purchase the item.
What is refunded when I return an item?
When you return an entire order you will be refunded the price of the items paid at the time of purchase. When you return less than the entire order you will be refunded just the price of the items returned.
If you are returning goods as not suitable we have a restocking fee of 10%, on products not returned within 7 days of delivery this is to recover our credit card charges. If your order qualified for free shipping, we will also deduct shipping cost from the goods returned.

Once your goods have been received at our store they will be booked in and a refund or exchange will be processed.
To ensure that your refund is processed as quickly as possible, please do the following when packing and sending your product:
Send the product in its original packaging.
Please pack the product so that it will not be damaged during the return shipping process.
Include a copy of the delivery note. If for some reason you do not have this, please include your name, address, phone number, order number.
You must return the goods to us at your cost. We advise you the goods are to be insured during any return journey that you organise. We will only refund postage on faulty goods returned to us, we will only refund standard postal charges (i.e. not special delivery, or next working day services)
Please call our store before you return any goods.
Returning a damaged/defective item
To return a damaged or defective item Please include a brief description of the fault. Please return your goods with a copy of the delivery note. If for some reason you do not have this, please include your name, address, phone number, order number.
Undeliverable packages
We will only refund postage on faulty goods returned to us, we will only refund standard postal charges (i.e. not special delivery, or next working day services)
What happens if we receive an item back because it is undeliverable?
Every once in a while, we will have a package returned to us because the couriers were unable to deliver it to you. When this happens, we will attempt to contact you to establish a convenient re-dispatching date.
Unfortunately we have to recharge you the shipping fee, as we get charged for returned parcels. |
